The start for our athletes was very successful. Julia Zhuravok was able to shoot without problems in the first two circles and pass the baton to colleague Artem Prima. Biathlete finished the first round with one miss and kept in the top three of the race, but on the second arrival the Ukrainian made three misses in standing shooting and was forced to go to the penalty circle. Our team was outside the top thirty.

Released Primo to replace the Zhuravok quickly corrected the situation, after passing the third round without a miss. Then Prima was able to bypass the Canadian Karlsen Campbell in the last kilometer in competition for a medal. As a result, we got bronze, the gold medalists became Russians, and the "silver" became French.
