Organizers of the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korean Pyeongchang have completed the construction of a village where athletes will live.

The official opening is scheduled for February 1, 2018, eight days before the opening ceremony of the Olympics.

The organizing committee says that the village is equipped with a variety of facilities that will help athletes: banks, post offices, shops, laundries, beauty salons, fitness centers, as well as multi-confessional centers with prayer rooms.

Games in Pyeongchang will be held from 9 to 25 February 2018.

Recall, the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee at the meeting decided not to allow the Russian team to the Winter Olympic Games in 2018.
