Yekaterinburg Ivan Tumashev won the home world championship in Kyokushin. In the final match against the experienced representative of Kazakhstan Dmitry Moiseev, the 20-year-old athlete was injured, but continued the fight and won.
The Ural fighter became the only representative of the Sverdlovsk region, awarded a medal of malachite. The remaining prize-winners received awards from the coil.
Throughout the tournament, Tumashev scored victories over representatives of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Spain. In the overall team competition, the Russian team won the victory, the representatives of which won seven awards of the highest dignity, two silver and four bronze medals.
