The match with the participation of the first racket of Ukraine Elina Svitolina was recognized as the best in the season according to the version of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).
Recognition was a Ukrainian match against French tennis player Caroline Garcia in the quarterfinals of the tournament in Beijing, the official website of the organization.
The fight lasted more than three hours, the athletes played three sets and in two of them the winner was determined after the tiebreak.
As a result, Garcia won 6: 7, 7: 5, 7: 6.
Note that thanks to this victory, Garcia won the tournament and ended up in the WTA Final tournament, where she managed to reach the semifinals, again defeating Svitolina.
