Ukrainian athlete Olga Zemlyak, who is now suspended from the competition due to accusations of doping, told about the ambiguity of the situation.

In particular, Olga stressed that she used only the drugs allowed, and charges were brought against her on the basis of uncertified methods of research.

"There are two methods for testing our doping tests. They were tested by a method that is in the process of development. It is not certified. The scientists themselves point out that the method is being developed, that there is a big error and so on.

In this story it is necessary to understand. But I do not see any steps in this direction from the side of the Athletics Federation of Ukraine. The federation is the body that must make a decision. And to make a decision on the basis of one letter, where it is written that I am suspected of using a drug. Provide me with evidence.

The lawyer told me that this is the first such thing not only in Ukraine, but also in the world. That is, none of the athletes have received such happy letters.

Note that Olga and another Ukrainian athlete Olesya Povh were suspended from the competitions of the FLAU a few days before the start of the World Cup in London in August this year. The basis for this was the letters of the International Athletic Federation Association (IAAF) Athletics Integrity Unit, which indicated the excess of testosterone levels in athletes.

Recall that the countryman won the "silver" at 400 meters at the European Athletics Championships in June this year, and at a similar distance at the Olympics-2016, the countryman finished in seventh place.
