Footballer Zaporozhye, "Metallurg" Alexei Chernikov was horribly traumatized in the home match of the Second League of the Ukrainian Championship against the Kharkov "Metalist".

The unfortunate event occurred during the 4th goal against the hosts, when the player tried to prevent the opponent from hitting the empty goal.

However, instead, the midfielder unsuccessfully fell and got a terrible injury, in consequence of which, the football player's foot took an unnatural position.

The game itself ended in a devastating victory for Kharkiv residents with a score of 5: 0, and the poor player was immediately taken to the hospital by an ambulance.

As informs the official site of "Metallurg", Chernikov diagnosed a strong dislocation of the ankle with a shift.
