New bronze: Ukraine won the fifth medal in "The Games of the Unbowed"

The third place the Ukrainian sportsman shared with the British Lamin Maneh, who showed exactly the same result.

The first place was taken by Canadian Michael Troner, and the second - the Briton Mark Ormrod.

For Ukraine, which for the first time takes part in the Unbowed Games, this is the second bronze medal. On the first day of the competition, the third place in the shot put sector was taken by Sergey Torchinsky from Lutsk.

In total, five medals are in the coin box of the Ukrainian national team: two gold medals, one silver and two bronze medals.

The current competition will last until September 30.

"Unbowed Games" are international sports competitions in the Paralympic style, founded by the British Prince Harry in 2014. Servicemen and veterans of military operations with a disability received during the performance of their duties take part in the competition, Radio Liberty reports..



Ukraine in 2017 for the first time received the right to participate in the "Unbowed Games" as a participant in many military exercises, peacekeeping operations under the auspices of the United Nations, and also as a country whose military personnel have combat experience in performing tasks in the framework of the military operation in the Donbass.

15 Ukrainian sportsmen will compete in such sports: athletics, powerlifting, swimming, archery, rowing on simulators and cycling on the highway.
