Yuzuru Khanu improved his world record. Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Khanu updated the world record for points in the short program in single skating at the tournament Autumn Classic International in Canadian Pierfondes. For his performance, Khanyu received 112.72 points and broke his own world achievement, which was 110.95 points and was established in the Grand Prix Final on December 10, 2015. It should be noted that Khanyu also owns world records in single skating by the number of points in an arbitrary program and by the sum of points.
