The Ukrainian national team won eight medals of the World Cup in artistic gymnastics, which was held in Paris.

Olympic champion Oleg Vernyaev won three awards at once: "gold" on uneven bars and "bronze" on the rings and in the base jump.

Pyotr Pakhnyuk took two silver medals, having conceded on the uneven bars of Verniaev and adding his silver medal to the collection of medals in free exercises. Igor Radivilov also won silver in the base jump.

In women's competitions two "bronzes" were won by Diana Varinskaya - in floor exercises and on bars.

Note that this tournament is one of the main starts before the World Cup, which in early October will be held in Montreal.
