Slovenian basketball team defeated Serbian team in the final match of the European Championship and won the "gold" of the tournament for the first time.

The Slovenes unsuccessfully started the fight, but thanks to the brilliant play of the point guard of the Miami Heat Goran Dragic, the team managed to catch up and for the first time in history won the European Championships.

The final score of the game is 93:85 (20:22, 36:25, 15:20, 22:18).

Note that Dragic scored 35 points, made 7 rebounds and gave 3 assists.

Recall, previously the best achievement of the Slovenian national team, which the Ukrainian team lost in the 1/8 finals of Eurobasket-2017, was the 4th place at the European Championships 2009 in Poland.
