Scientists from the University of Missouri-Columbia (USA) argue that the benefits of adhering to strict diets and consumption of medications is negligible, compared to the benefits obtained by diabetics from physical exercises.
Professor Vicky Conn revealed that during exercise, the level of insulin in the blood rises without the influence of additional drugs. Complications caused by diabetes can provoke a heart attack, kidney disease or limb amputation. The only way to help a diabetic at any stage of the disease - exercise.
Mrs. Conn states that exercising better affects the body of men than women. Positive results achieved through physical training are equally positively reflected both in young people and in representatives of the older age group.
