Two mixed relay race will open the program of the World Summer Biathlon Championships, which will be held from 25 to 27 August in Chaikovsky. The first to reach the distance will be juniors, and three hours later - adult athletes.
Coaching staff of the Russian national team on the eve of determined athletes who will defend the honor of the country in this kind of competition. At the final stage of the race will run Olympic champion Anton Shipulin, who twice already became world champion in the summer season.
The Ural sportsman will receive a baton from Ulyana Kaisheva, Svetlana Sleptsova and Alexey Volkov.
After a mixed relay, athletes will run a sprint, and finish the competition will be the pursuit race.
