The Sports Arbitration Court (CAS) has disqualified Russian athlete Anna Pyatiy, who performs in a triple jump, for four years for an anti-doping rule violation.

This is reported in a press release CAS. It is noted that the 36-year-old Fifth violated two articles of the rules of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF): the presence in a doping trial of a prohibited substance or its metabolites or markers and the use or attempt to use an athlete of a prohibited substance or method.

Disqualification is valid from December 15, 2016 - the date of suspension of the athlete.

All results of the Fifth from July 6, 2013 to December 15, 2016, as well as for August 31, 2007 were canceled.

As a result, the Fifth will not receive a bronze medal at the 2007 World Cup in Osaka, which was due to be abandoned after the disqualification for the doping of the Greek girl Chrysopia Devetzi. Final in the triple jump at the World Cup-2007 was held on August 31. The fifth place was taken by Slovene Maria Shestak, who now will get "bronze".
