Former world boxing champion Vladimir Klitschko admitted that he lost motivation for a rematch with British Anthony Joshua.

Klitschko lost to AJ in April 2017 by technical knockout, and the revenge was planned for November.

"I had a plan. I was obsessed with winning the fight with Joshua. I had 1000 reasons to agree to a rematch, and as many - to retire a career.

But at the time of the decision, some of me have already died.

I noticed that the motivation was not at that level. Even the possible 20 million that I could earn for a rematch with Joshua could not change my mind. If I continued to fight only because of money, I would be deceiving myself, "Klitschko said in an interview with Bild.

Recall, Klitschko announced the completion of the boxing career on August 3, 2017. Now Vladimir will be engaged in his business.
