Ukrainka Elena Krivitskaya won bronze in fencing at swords at the World Championships in Leipzig.

In the 1/8 finals, the Ukrainian sensationally beat the favorite of the Chinese women's tournament Sun Yven 15:13. In the quarterfinals, Elena met with Russian Tatyana Logunova and also managed to win 15:11.

In the semi-final, Elena Neelip became the rival of Elena. Ukrainka was leading 2-1, but eventually lost at 10:15 and became a bronze medalist.

Let's note, before Krivitskaya did not win the personal awards of the World Championship.

Earlier, team leader Olga Harlan won the "gold" of the World Championship in saber fencing.
