The UEFA Appeal Committee rejected the complaint of Besiktas regarding the decision of the disciplinary committee following the incident at the Europa League quarterfinal match against Lyon, which took place on April 13 in France.
The decision of April 19 remains in force: the club is fined 100 thousand euros and suspended from European competition for a year, conditionally with a trial period of two seasons, the official website of UEFA.
This decision was made in connection with the riots of the fans of both teams during the first match of the quarter-finals of the Europa League, which because of this started 45 minutes later.
Fans of guests began to throw foreign objects and fireballs, as a result, the fans of the French club were forced to flee to the field.
