The national team of Ukraine won 1 gold and 3 bronze awards at the European Championships in rowing and canoeing, which took place July 14-16 in Bulgarian Plovdiv.

Maria Kichasova and Anastasia Gorlova were the first in the finals of the kayaks-dykes at the distance of 200m. Ukrainians won the fight for medals from the teams of Portugal and Poland, who took the second and third places.

The women's kayak-four of Maria Kichasova, Maria Povkh, Anastasia Todorova and Inna Grishun received a bronze medal at a distance of 500 meters.

Olympic prize-winners Dmitry Yanchuk and Taras Mischuk became the third in the final "A" among the canoe-dicks at the distance of 500m.

Also third place in Ivan Semkiv and Igor Trunov among kayaks-deuces at a distance of 500m.
