168 sportsmen from 26 countries took part in the tournament. The national team of Ukraine included three representatives of Kharkov from the Sports School № 6.
Nikita Radionov, who played in the weight category up to 75 kg, won the representatives of Russia, Tunisia, China, Croatia and eventually reached the final, which, according to the competition grid, will be held this fall in France. By tradition, the finals of all categories of the World Championship in Savat are held in this country.
Successfully performed and Kharkov Karina Tatyanchenko, who became a bronze medalist.
