An hour ago, after a powerful downpour, in the capital on Truhanov Island, the "First Kiev ultramarathon". Athletes on the asphalt road run 100 kilometers - 12 laps. They must meet at 14 o'clock.
For the duration of the competition, traffic on Trukhanov Island was blocked.
At seven in the morning the race for 50 kilometers starts, and at 9 on 25 kilometers.
Only participants who turned 18 and who do not have health problems were admitted to the competition.
To participate in the race for 100 km registered more than 70 athletes, 50 km - over 60, and 25 km - a half hundred.
