For the first time in the history of Ukrainian tennis the representative of our country was among the first 4 seeded at Wimbledon.

Elina Svitolina seeded under the fourth number in the tournament.

Thus, the Ukrainian can meet with the first racket of the tournament (Angelik Kerber) not before the semifinals, but with the second and third seeded (Simone Khalep and Karolina Plishkova) will be drawn by toss in different half of the grid.

Let's note, Wimbledon will be held from 3 to 15 July in London.

Ukraine, except for Svitolina at the tournament will be represented in the main grid Lesya Tsurenko, Katerina Bondarenko, Alexander Dolgopolov, in the qualification already kicked off Ekaterina Kozlova, Ilya Marchenko and Sergei Stakhovsky.
