Footballers of the Russian team who participated in the World Cup in 2014 in Brazil, have become objects of investigation by FIFA for the use of doping.
This is reported by the British edition of the Daily Mail.
It is reported that FIFA suspects of the use of doping 34 Russian players, including 23 players who were part of the team's bid for the 2014 World Cup.
It is also noted that for the first time in history under suspicion there is a whole team, besides the national team.
Earlier, the president of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, said that it is necessary to impose sanctions on Russia for manipulating doping tests at the Sochi 2014 Games.
