In Kharkiv, semi-final matches took place in all categories of the European Boxing Championship.

Following Nikolai Butsenko (56 kg), who confidently reached the European Championship final by defeating Irishman Kurt Walker (5-0), three more representatives of our country made their way to the finals.

Alexander Khizhnyak (up to 75 kg) confidently defeated Italian Salvatore Cavagliaro, also surpassing the opponent in each round - 5: 0.

Yuri Shestak (up to 60 kg) by a separate decision won the Englishman Callum French - 3: 2.

Victor Vykhrist (+91 kg) got the ticket to the final, having beaten Russian Maxim Babanin - 4: 1.

For a step to the finals, two Ukrainian boxers stopped.

Dmitry Zamotaev (to 52 kg) lost to the Bulgarian Daniel Asenov - 0: 5. Eugene Barabanov (to 69 kg) lost to British Peter McCormack - 0: 5.

Final fights will be held on June 24.
