The prosecutor's office of Croatia accused the midfielder of Madrid's "Real" Luka Modrica that he gave false testimony to the court.
This is reported by the British media.
The football player was one of the key witnesses in the case against Zagreb Zagreb, the president of Zagreb Zdravko Mamich, who was accused of misappropriating someone else's property and fraudulent taxes.
Mamich is accused of embezzling over 15 million euros during the transition of Dynamo footballers to foreign teams and non-payment of taxes in the amount of 1.5 million euros.
As a result, the public prosecutor of Croatia opened a case against the midfielder of "Real", who could face a term of six months to five years.
Recall earlier reported that the striker of "Real" Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave the club because of accusations of non-payment of taxes.
