The football world can see half-empty stadiums during the matches of the Confederations Cup, which starts on June 17 in Russia.

Russian journalist Artur Petrosyan noted that the fans bought only half of the tickets for the tournament fights.

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation sent an order according to which local budgetary institutions will provide the Cup of Confederations with spectators by distributing free tickets.

It is reported that the implementation of this instruction has already begun in Kazan. The order applies to all cities that host the tournament: Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi.

Recall, the Confederations Cup starts in St. Petersburg match between the national teams of Russia and New Zealand.

It is scheduled for 18:00 Kyiv time.
