Winners of the Olympic Games in Rio Oleg Vernyaev and Jean Belenyuk received from the Ministry of Defense epaulettes "junior lieutenant".

By order of the Minister of Defense, the Olympians were awarded the rank of "junior lieutenant".

"On June 15, the order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine awarded the junior sergeant Oleg Vernyayev and the sergeant Jean Belenuk with the rank of" junior lieutenant "to the army athletes to the Olympic champions, the website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Athletes have already tried on their epaulettes.

Let's remind, Belenyuk won a silver medal in Rio, and Verniaev became an Olympic champion on uneven bars, and also took silver in the personal all-around.
