However, people who regularly attend the gym should not allow themselves such indulgences, as shown by the study. Only 14 days spent on all canons of a sedentary lifestyle, cause irreparable damage to muscle mass and the level of athletic training.

The researchers noticed dramatic changes in these indicators, as well as in metabolic rate, which occur after a two-week vacation. In total, 28 young, sports-developed people with an average age of 25.
