As noted, karateka Ekaterina Krivaya became the owner of the gold medal in the weight category up to 50 kg in komite. So, in the finals she defeated the German Duig Bugur.

Also the national team of Ukraine in the composition of Anita Seregina, Ekaterina Krivoy, Anastasia Myastkovskaya and Angelika Terlyuga won gold in the team kumite.

In turn, the hostesses of the tournament stopped in second place, and the bronze medals went to Slovaks and French women.

It is worth noting that 16 sportsmen from four regions of the country represent Ukraine at the tournament: 7 - from Lviv, 5 - from Odessa, 3 - from Kiev and 1 from Chernivtsi.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform," the duo of Anna Voloshina and Elizaveta Yakhno made a splash among the competitions in Canada's Toronto. So, the Ukrainian sportswomen won the gold medal of the World Series for synchronous swimming World Series 2017.
