Russian athlete Julia Chermoshansky, who was deprived of the "gold" of the 2008 Olympic Games in the relay, confessed to using dope.

Initially, the athlete planned to appeal the decision in the Sports Arbitration Court, but then signed a form of recognition of sanctions for violation of anti-doping rules.

The All-Russian Athletics Federation announced the disqualification of Chermoshansky for 2 years from June 1, 2016.

All results shown by the athlete in the period from August 20, 2008 to August 19, 2010 will be canceled.

It should be noted that according to the results of the repeated testing of samples of athletes from the Olympic Games in Beijing, they were found banned substances - stanozolol and turinabol.

Recall that in August 2016, the IOC stripped the Russian national team of the Golden Olympics 2008 award in the relay 4 to 100 meters.
