16-year-old Ukrainian has beaten the ex-ninth racket of the world

Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremskaya won the first WTA match in her career, beating 78th world racket player Andreu Petkovic with a score of 3: 6, 6: 0, 6: 3 in the first round of the tournament in Istanbul.

For 2 hours of the match, Yastremskaya fired 3 times, made 4 double mistakes and realized 7 breakpoints out of 11. On the account Petkovic 3 double errors and four realized break-points of 16.



It should be noted that Petkovic used to be in the top 10, occupying the ninth line of the rating, while the 16-year-old Yastremskaya is currently at 420th position.

In the second round, Yastremskaya will play with the winner of the pair Zhang Kaizhen (China) - Anna Kalinskaya (Russia).
