Digitalization of mobilization processes continues in Ukraine. Most draft deferments can now be continued online or through the Central Administrative Service.

If deferment data is not displayed in the Reserve+ application, it is necessary to update the information in state registers, since otherwise the risk of mobilization increases. Lawyer Evgeniy Bulimenko spoke about this in a media commentary..

According to the specialist, the key confirmation of the successful extension of the deferment is the corresponding notification in the Reserve+ application. If you receive it, you do not need to submit additional applications or paper documents. At the same time, technical glitches or outdated data in government registers can complicate this process..

“If such a notification has not been received, it is necessary to check and/or update information about yourself in the relevant state registers or databases,” explained Bulimenko.

He added that if during the electronic verification the right to deferment is not confirmed due to lack of data in the databases, the system is not automatically updated. He also warned that the lack of up-to-date information in digital registries could lead to serious consequences.

“If during the electronic interaction of registers the right to a deferment is not confirmed, it will not be extended. Accordingly, in this case, the person liable for military service can be mobilized on a general basis,” the lawyer noted.

Automation of the procedure became possible thanks to the established electronic interaction between the Unified State Register of Conscripts (Oberig) and other state databases. As a result, the necessary information is automatically retrieved, and citizens do not need to personally contact the TCC.

Such a mechanism is provided for a number of categories, in particular: – persons with disabilities;

– parents of three or more children who are raised in the same marriage;

– citizens caring for husbands, wives or parents with group I or II disabilities;

– former prisoners of war and family members of deceased military personnel.

Let us remind you that during martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine, those liable for military service are subject to liability for draft evasion and violation of military registration rules. We are talking not only about fines, but also about possible restrictions on rights, putting people on the wanted list or seizing property.
