In Ukraine, the weather will worsen sharply in the coming days – weather forecasters warn of frosts and strong winds. Bad weather will affect most regions and may affect transport and energy infrastructure. At the same time, there is a threat to agriculture due to falling temperatures. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports this, citing data from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center..

According to forecasters, on the afternoon of April 7, gale winds with gusts of 15–20 m/s are expected in the western regions. Alert level 1 (yellow) has been declared, indicating potentially hazardous weather conditions.

Along with this, frosts will come to Ukraine. On the night of April 7, soil surface temperatures will drop to 0–3 degrees in the western, northern and most central regions. In Transcarpathia, frosts in the air of up to 0–3 degrees are also possible.

On the night of April 8, ground frosts are predicted throughout Ukraine. Air temperatures of up to 0–3 degrees are expected in Transcarpathian, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava and Kharkov regions.

The night of April 9 will also be cold:

frosts on the ground will persist throughout the country, and in the air they are possible in most regions, including the Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk and Lugansk regions. In this regard, danger level II (orange) has been declared.

Forecasters warn that strong gusts of wind could complicate the work of energy workers, utilities and traffic. At the same time, frosts pose a serious threat to early flowering fruit trees and future harvests.

Citizens are urged to be careful: while staying on the street, avoid being under large trees, near power lines and advertising structures.
