At the initiative of the Bukovl shopping center, more than 20 thousand military armed forces of Ukraine were able to relax with their families and restore strength after hostilities. The recovery program for the military is implemented by Bukovel together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is stated in the plot of the German public television channel ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen).

Despite the war, Bukovel continues to work, and visitors are equipped with skiing points in the rental points. Among them are the Ukrainian military who got the opportunity to take a break from hostilities.

" However, now the situation has changed: discos are closed, the commandant’s hour is operating, and the resort itself has become a place where you can forget about the war for at least a short time. To help the military and civilian affected by the war, Bukovel is gradually transformed. More and more medical and restoration institutions appear at the resort, in particular: hotels adapted for military with disabilities, physical rehabilitation programs, water gymnastics and medical courses, psychological support, ”the plot says.

During the visit, ZDF journalists talked with Military Andrei Logvinenko, who, together with his wife, took advantage of a special program for military personnel. He said that the opportunity to recover at the resort was a real respite from frontal reality for him.

" Mountains, a calm atmosphere and people around give him the feeling that Ukraine continues to live. Andrei Logvinenko and his wife will remain in Bukovel for a few days, after which he will have to return to the front. Before leaving, he wants to take as many positive emotions from Bukovel to have enough strength for future tests. Bukovel is not only about skiing and winter rest. This place where the Ukrainian military find support, restore strength and remind themselves that life is ongoing, ”the ZDF TV channel says.
