When the village of Tatyana in Donetchin was at the epicenter of war, she was forced to flee. She remembers her first arrival in the community, it was right next to her house. Then the woman miraculously survived. Tatyana told her story to the “Voices of the Peaceful” Museum of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.

The decision to evacuate the woman was given hard, she said, she decided completely only when she listened to the words of the Ukrainian military who warned of danger.

“We were told to leave, because in two hours your village will no longer exist,” recalls Tatyana.

The woman left in October 2022. Now there is almost nothing left of her house, like the entire village.. On the site of the parental house - ruins. Currently Tatyana lives in a kindergarten in Svetlovodsk.

Most of all, the woman dreams of returning to Donbass liberated from the invaders..

" I pray for this. I really want to go home, parents are waiting there, albeit in the cemetery. The war took everything from me. I can't cry, because there are no tears, ”the woman admits.
