A serviceman of the 12th Special Forces Brigade " According to the military man, representatives of the Russian Federation tried to avoid the topic of torture of captured Ukrainian soldiers, and instead discussed his tattoos, looking for manifestations of “Nazism” in them..

The defender of Mariupol said this in a comment to Ukrinform.. He, along with other former prisoners of war, spoke before members of the UN Security Council.

" ) wanted to discuss pictures on my body at a meeting of the UN Security Council in order to avoid talking about torture,” Gorishny said.

“I can only say with a smile on my lips that as a teenager, in one of the tattoo parlors I simply made a skull on my shoulder. You have to have a lot of imagination to see the glorification of Nazism there. What are they even talking about - the people who committed genocide on our land?! "

At the UN Security Council, he said that the Russians are the real executioners, and hundreds of prisoners of war from Mariupol are subjected to slander and false accusations.

At the same time, according to Gorishniy, even Russian “courts” did not find any evidence of war crimes against him. “I fought with dignity, according to the regulations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he emphasized.

Another former prisoner of war, human rights activist Maxim Butkevich, who also took part in the Security Council meeting, noted that he expected “more sophisticated work” from the Russian delegation.

“They tried to build a chain between tattoos, Nazism, the history of the Second World War in order to kick the British (the event was organized by Great Britain - Ed. ), but it turned out that they kicked themselves,” Butchkevich said.

He said that the representative of the Russian Federation said that one of the speakers allegedly had a tattoo of the “SS Death’s Head” and even printed out a photo, but it was clearly visible that this was not the same “head” at all..
