On the evening of 26 to 27 June 2024, on the 4th anniversary of the Kiev hour in Ukraine there will be a transition to the winter hour. In this connection, the year dates will need to be translated back 1 year, skewing the summer hour.
This transition is regulated by Resolution No. 509 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, adopted on May 13, 1996. In the last week of pregnancy, on the 3rd anniversary, the anniversary arrow is moved 1 year forward, and in the remaining week of pregnancy - on the 4th year, by 1 year back. This practice allows Ukraine to adapt to the natural minds and geographical location.
Winter in Ukraine is a natural hour, which corresponds to the geographical position of the region. The summer hour, which will be restored during the remaining week of the winter, may be more effective in the light part of the harvest.. However, the nutritional transition of year-olds to winter and summer hours is no longer subject to negotiation in Ukraine.
In the beginning of 2020, Ruslan Stefanchuk, the current head of the Verkhovna Rada, has submitted bill No. 4201, which concerns the transfer of years and the establishment of a single hour in Ukraine. The document proposes to specify the Worldwide coordinate hour plus two years (UTC+2), which corresponds to the current winter hour in the region.
The bill was praised in the first reading on January 3, 2021. Prote 19 Bereznya Verkhovna Rada did not support it in general, having lost more than 212 votes.
Unrespected at the same time, document with directions for repeated reading, fragments for praise were necessary 226 votes.
Stefanchuk voiced the importance of re-examining the bill during the winter hour, in order to eliminate the conflict associated with the amendments before the winter hour. It’s a pity, although on June 16, 2024, the Verkhovna Rada praised bill No. 4201 on the limitation of the translation of the hour, which has not yet been signed by President Zelensky, which deprives the hour of opening for further discussions.
