Easter is the most important holiday of the year for Orthodox Christians. This is the feast of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, who by his death atoned for people's sins and by his resurrection gave hope for life after death..

For the first time, Ukrainians will celebrate Easter under martial law. Curfew will be in effect in the regions. All because of possible strikes by the Russian army on crowded places.

Government urges people to stay at home. A curfew will be in effect during the night service in the territories of the regions.. Ukrainians are asked not to go to churches because of possible strikes by the Russian army on crowded places.

There will be no night services in Kharkiv region from 23 to 24 April. Everything to avoid crowds. Curfew time for the celebration period - from 19. 00 to 5. 00 am.
