Journalist Yuri Dud called on Russian officials and businessmen to influence Vladimir Putin in order to immediately end the war in Ukraine. He wrote about this in his telegram channel.

I don’t know if there are still people who have at least some influence on Putin, but, let’s say, there are. I don’t know how they fall asleep and wake up now and what they train between waking up and sleeping. But all of them - from the Rotenbergs to Timchenko, from Chemezov to Gref, from Abramovich to Mordashov, from Kudrin to Ernst - want to remind one thing: human dignity now is not in the Crimean bridges and not in victories in the Champions League. The advantage is to tell your boss your position (and for many of you it coincides with mine in many places) and explain to him what kind of disaster is happening right now.

In his post, Dud also stated that the Russian government in recent years “has been diligently eroding human dignity, but in recent days they just hit it with acid”.

Why this is happening is clear: Putin no longer needs people. This was clear and true, but now it has also rhymed with endless meetings at the kilometer table: even the closest comrades-in-arms, even in the midst of the most difficult war, do not approach the national leader and receive nuclear orders from the other end of the cabinet.
