The city government does not plan to raise fares in the Kharkiv metro.

Kharkiv mayor Igor Terekhov stated this today, February 15, during a meeting with the workforce of the Kharkiv Metro KP.

We won't raise metro fares. This is good for city residents, but not very good for an enterprise, because the level of your salaries and profitability depend on the tariff. And for this, the city will support the metro financially, and we will also consider the possibility of providing subway workers with benefits for housing and communal services,” Terekhov said..

Earlier, Terekhov said that the construction of the metro is a priority for local authorities..
