Parliament adopted in the first reading a bill that provides for the introduction of an annual indexation of pensions in Ukraine on March 1.

The official added that this will allow to legislatively regulate the date of indexation of pensions and ensure the planned formation of the Pension Fund's expenses for the relevant purposes..

The bill proposes to resume the indexation of pensions for military personnel, scientists, local government officials and civil servants.

The document also proposes to introduce the right to early retirement pension for a year and a half before reaching retirement age to persons, in the event that the employment contract, in connection with the reorganization of enterprises, is terminated.

Also, the draft law provides for the early appointment of a pension to mothers (fathers) of children with severe, rare diseases who have not been identified as disabled..
