In Kharkiv, the national flag was raised to more than 100-meter height of the highest flagpole in Europe. During the ceremony, the head of the city Igor Terekhov congratulated Kharkiv residents on the City Day, which falls on the same date with the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine.

“As for the flagpole, we measured it today, it turned out to be 1 meter higher than according to the project,” noted Igor Terekhov. - Thus, the highest flagpole in Europe is not 101 meters, as previously announced, but 102 meters. A beautiful view opens up on it, everything is very beautiful "
