In the Kharkiv region, an 18-year-old young man is suspected of stealing a car. According to investigators, the car thief was unable to overcome the dirt and ran away.
The owner of the car reported the abduction of the VAZ-2103 to the police, informs the press service of the National Police.
The likely kidnapper was detained several hours later. The police say: the guy was drunk, after unsuccessful attempts to get out of the mud, he left the car at the entrance to the city and ran away.
The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings under h. 2 st. 289 (vehicle seizure) and h. 3 st. 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The young man faces up to eight years in prison.
