The police of the Kharkiv region exposed a criminal scheme, the participants of which forged medical certificates on the suitability of a driver to drive a vehicle.

The organizer of the group was a 69-year-old woman who, using corrupt connections in health care institutions, obtained data from medical workers. She entered these data into the official documentation, which she submitted to obtain a license to practice medicine.. In the future, in order to avoid suspicions about the inaccuracy of the certificates, the members of the group made several fake seals with which they certified the medical certificates..

Offenders set up a network for selling fake certificates in medical institutions, driving schools, and city car fleets. In general, according to preliminary estimates of law enforcement officers, the group produced several hundred fake certificates.

During the searches, the police seized ready-to-issue medical certificates, forms, seals and stamps from medical institutions, records of black accounting, as well as 140.7 thousand. UAH, 26.9 thousand. dollars, 9.6 thousand. Euro.

Three members of the group were informed of the suspicion of h. 4 st. 368-3 (bribery of an official of a legal entity of private law, regardless of the organizational and legal form) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Attackers face up to seven years in prison.
