Two out of three Italians wish to be vaccinated. And every third Italian claims that his economic situation has worsened during the pandemic, says Italy in Russian. An in-depth study coordinated by ISS, the Higher Institute of Health, shows that two out of three respondents (67%) agree to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Among the elderly, this figure reaches 84 percent, among the youngest, 18–34 years old - 76%, the most suspicious of the vaccine are respondents aged 35–49 years; in this group, only 59% of respondents declared their readiness to be vaccinated.
The report says that 32% of the population aged 18 to 69 said their economic resources had deteriorated as a result of the pandemic.. Among the youngest, but especially in the 35-49 age group, the share rises to 36%, in the 50-69 age group - 28%. Every third employee suffered economic losses: kept the same job, but with reduced pay (28%) or lost it (4%).
In-depth research was conducted from August to November on a sample of 2,700 respondents.
