The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine at a plenary meeting plans to consider a bill on social protection of the population during the quarantine period, introduced due to the spread of coronavirus. This is reported by UNN with reference to today's agenda.
Thus, parliamentarians plan to consider bills on certain provisions of service in the Judicial Protection Service, on increasing liability for committing criminal offenses against journalists, on amending the 2020 State Budget regarding the natural gas market.
In addition, the Verkhovna Rada in the second reading will return to the bills regarding the grounds for the absence of people's deputies at plenary sessions, regarding the social protection of the population during the quarantine period, and regarding equal opportunities for parents to take care of the child..
We add that the agenda does not include a bill on e-declaration, which was presented by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov.
As a reminder, yesterday, November 3, the parliamentary committee on anti-corruption policy recommended that the Verkhovna Rada adopt as a basis and as a whole the bill on the restoration of e-declaration.
Earlier, Razumkov said that this bill should be passed this week.
