So in the last 24 hours 49 patients died from coronavirus infection. This is a new anti-record, previously in 24 hours there have not yet been such a large number of deaths. A total of 2,403 people have already died.

1,974 patients were infected with coronavirus yesterday. More than 200 cases of infection in several regions at once, and in some more than 100.

In Kiev (220 new cases), Kharkiv (218), Lviv (203), Odessa (185), Ivano-Frankivsk (164), Chernivtsi (159) and Ternopil (141) regions. In total, there are 112,059 confirmed infections in the country since the start of the pandemic.

Now 55 439 people are sick with COVID-19 in Ukraine, which is 1 162 more than the day before. The disease has already defeated 54,217 (763 per day). Thus, the number of active patients in Ukraine exceeds the number of recovered.
