In Ukraine, 61% of citizens believe that currently cooperation with the IMF and obtaining loans are inappropriate. Such data was obtained by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology according to the results of opinion polls.
The study participants were asked to express their opinion on the advisability of our country’s cooperation with the IMF..
61% of respondents in June said that now it’s better not to cooperate with the IMF and not to receive new loans. Compared to April, the proportion of people who think so has increased by 15% (from 46% to 61%).
In June, 24% of Ukrainians were of the opinion that it is now better to cooperate with the IMF, receiving new loans. Compared to April, the proportion of people who think so has decreased by 8% (from 32% to 24%).
