In Kazakhstan, the Biosafety Research Institute has developed five coronavirus vaccines. WHO has registered one of the vaccine candidates. Human trials of this vaccine Kazakhstan plans to begin in September this year, said Minister of Science of the Republic Askhat Aymagambetov.

In mid-May, preclinical trials of the candidate inactivated vaccine began: safety and immunogenicity were tested on linear mice.. From June 10 to 23, tests for toxicity and allergenic properties are being held, in June - July, studies on primates should be conducted. And in September, it is planned to enter clinical trials, that is, to test in humans.
