Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) told the infrastructure minister about the suspicion of committing illegal actions that led to a loss of 30.4 million UAH by the state budget.

As noted by NABU, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine opposed the reduction of all port charges, among other things, emphasizing that a decrease in the administrative fee will lead to a loss of revenue to the state budget. As a result, the decision of the ex-official led to under-receipt of UAH 30.4 million in the state budget in 2018: of the expected UAH 203.5 million, UAH 173.1 million was received. These data are confirmed by the State Audit Service and judicial expertise, specify in NABU.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Infrastructure acknowledged that this order did not achieve its goal.
