Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, as part of the mitigation of restrictive measures to counter the pandemic, signed a decree on opening the borders of the Russian Federation to travel abroad for certain categories of citizens. The head of the Cabinet of Ministers notified about this on Monday, June 8, at a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordinating Council to combat the spread of new coronavirus infection, DW writes..

In addition, the exit will be allowed to Russians who need to receive medical care abroad.

According to Mishustin, foreign citizens will also have the opportunity to enter the Russian Federation for treatment at Russian medical organizations. A single entry is also provided for those who have close relatives who need care in Russia.
