Since June 5, domestic flights resume in Ukraine, and from June 15 - international flights. In this regard, the State Aviation Administration has published requirements that airports, air carriers and passengers must comply with in order to maintain safety in the context of a coronavirus pandemic, reports AIN.

Among the basic requirements:.

Access to airport terminals should be as limited as possible for passengers, crew members and staff.

Physical distance (1.5 meters between people), enhanced hygiene procedures and cleaning should be introduced.

In areas with a high concentration of passengers, measures must be taken to prevent queues.

Mobile registration, contactless boarding and other electronic process alternatives should be introduced..

Everyone at the airport should wear face masks: staff and passengers. Personnel must also wear protective gloves..

It is recommended that temperature screening is carried out for passengers departing and arriving at the terminal..

To deliver passengers to aircraft, the State Aviation Administration advises operators to increase the number of buses.

A complete list of requirements can be found here.. In essence, this is the implementation in Ukraine of the rules of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) COVID-19 Aviation Health Safety Protocol.
